The Rain Centre is a one-stop information and assistance centre for Rainwater Harvesting (RWH). It is located in Chennai, a coastal city in South India. The centre was started in August 2002 by the Chief Minister.

The Rain Centre is involved in 3 thrust areas required to promote RWH in urban areas: education, implementation and evaluation/research. More info can be found on www.raincentre.net.
