This documentary is about the impacts of lift irrigation schemes (LIS) on the poor farmers in the drought prone regions. The LIS enables the available water source in reaching the higher areas, is an oasis for the farmers. Thanks to Mr. G. Chandra Shekar Reddy, MD, APSIDC for providing an opportunity to study and also thanks to SIRD, an NGO in Mahabubnagar District. Experiences are from three LISs in parts of Mahabubnagar District, Andhra Pradesh, India.
