« Prev \| Next » The Global Water Partnership's mission is to support the sustainable development and management of water resources at all levels. GWP is an official Collaborating Partner of the World Water Week in Stockholm this year as 2013 is the International Year of Water Cooperation (IYWC). The aim of the Year is to raise awareness on the potential for increased cooperation between government, civil society and the private sector to solve water challenges. Creating partnerships around water resources management is the foundation of the GWP network. This video outlines those challenges and GWP's approach in addressing them. An integrated approach to managing the world's water resources -- for economic growth, social equity, and ecosystem sustainability -- is key to achieving a water secure world. Video Comments Comments # Faculty — Dr.M.Anil Kumar 2013-02-06 12:20 Water is life to any Biological life (creatures or plants)in Over the Earth and on the Earth and inside the Earth. There is plenty of water available in our surrounding Universal environment (Atmosphere, Ocean, Interior of the Earth) and out side of the Earth. Water is in the form three states (Phases). As a dominated life (Human) over the Earth surface, we have to convert water state int to liquid state. The above commentary could be helpful to understand the basic nature of water and its availability and also its need for biological life's. According to my idea , we have to use water as proper way depends on its nature. It is not permanent state it will change its nature in different phases (solid, liquid and gases). So as a human beings we a have to utilize water in proper way by applying new science and technology methods. I appreciate this type of information to the society.
