Description

In the testimonies of the communities living alongside the Zambezi River, the story of their fears and concerns about the proposed Mphanda Nkuwa Dam are shared, as well as the concerns of the environmental organisation Justica Ambiental. Names of community members and translators are still to be added. This is being updated in time for the International Day of Action against Dams and for Rivers, Water and Life on 14 March 2009. This video was filmed and edited by Liane Greeff for the Environmental Monitoring Group and Justica Ambiental, and is based on a field trip undertaken with International Rivers, Environmental Defense and Justical Ambiental.
