Description

Zeolite is available on the Ukranian market since the last 10 to 15 years now. When added to the soil, the zeolite increases soils nutrient storage capacity, as well as act as a sponge, buffering ans storing water. When zeolite first was applied in the Ukrain, in the late 90's, application rates in between 15 to 30 ton per hectare were common. At the moment this is brought back to 3 ton per hectare in a mixture with organic matter. Its marketing name is CEOLORG-U, developed by the Institute of Agricultural Soil UAAS, led by professor Henry Masur Adolfovich.
