This is a tragic story where the Apartheid South African Government built Inanda Dam to supply the City of Durban with water. However, early floods resulted in the dam filling up and flooding out the communities who were still to be resettled. They lost everything and 22 years later they are still waiting for compensation and the restoration of their livelihoods.
