Short documentary on the mouse infestation in Fryslan, the Netherlands and the consequences for its dikes. Because of the fact that the mice flee to higher situated dikes the grass layer on the dike gets affected. The mice dig tunnels below the surface and thereby influence the stablitity of the dike: when the water rises it can flow into these tunnels. The Wetterskip has done several tests in order to map out the direct effects of this tunnel-digging mice.
