Tiny satellites that photograph the entire planet, every day

In this TED talk, Will Marshall, CEO of Planet Labs talks about an initiative to make satellites cheaper and compacter in order to make frequent images of our planet. Together with his team he has produced the smallest satellites ever. The main goal is to democratize the information which produced by satellites, to make it accessible for every citizen of this world.  The satellite images can be used to help, for instance, developing countries with battling climate change, but also to check waterbodies on a daily basis in order to improve water security. The images of Planet labs can help to provide more than one hundred, even more than thousand solutions to accurate problems around the globe.
