Testing the Scythe

This video shows the testing of the Scythe, an agricultural tool used to harvest of (dry-stem) crops, grasses and weeds is 4 times as quick as to using sickles. It has been tested in GAS (Gash Agricultural Scheme), Sudan. It became clear that the Scythe design needs to be improved to cut hard stems (e.g. of sorghum). This could make work for labourers much easier and less time consuming.
